Following on the tasting of 2002 Champagne earlier this month, we are pleased to announce a tasting of 2002 Blanc de Blancs champagne. The wines that were shown on 22 January demonstrated the great quality of the vintage, displaying vivacious energy, finesse and intensity across the board. The purity of expression allowed house styles to come to the fore in a deeply satisfying way.

A key aspect of the vintage was that weather and harvest conditions delivered perfect grapes in the principal champagne grape varieties – Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. In this context, superb Blanc de Blancs champagnes were produced in 2002.

The tasting will feature a selection of the top 2002 Blanc de Blancs champagnes chosen by Tan Ying Hsien MW, who will tutor the session.
